Bali – Once holiday season coming everybody
is ready to break free. The yearly hard work must be paid off by travelling
across the world. It’s time to start planning your next global trip. Bali is a
must-visit destination for anyone wanting to experience the beauty of Southeast
Asia. Aside from its temples, waterfalls, and rice terraces, there are also
plenty of other attractions to see in this region.
If you ask anyone who has been in
Bali, you most likely get their admiration for its beautiful scenery and
custom. People often says that Bali is their top bucket list to travel. So
definitely there are a lot of reasons to visit Bali, but it’s also important to
know some of the secrets to making the most of your trip. Knowing these 4 tips
will help make sure that you get the most out of your visit.
In
non-pandemic times Bali, as one of the most touristed islands on earth, is
hardly an untouched paradise. It can be difficult to escape the throngs in
southern Bali and Ubud, but determined solitude seekers will be pleased to find
loads of secluded corners beyond these primary tourist centers. Head to the
central mountains, or Bali’s more chilled-out north and west coasts.
For your
next trip to Bali, consider travelling to the often-overlooked North Bali where
Bedugul, Lovina, and Banjar are situated. While the area is naturally quieter
and more secluded compared to the central areas of Bali, there are still a
plethora of things to see and do here.
If you
Hate Crowd, It’s Time Go North
As we said
before, Bali is on anyone bucket-list so better expect the crowd. The southern
part of Bali consists a lot of comprehensive and prominent places such as Ubud,
Benoa, Tabanan; the list could continue. So, if you wish to travel in peace,
tranquility, and serenity the northern part of Bali is the most suited for you.
The fewer
crowds, incredible waterfalls, abundant greenery, and quietness are great
reasons to visit North Bali. Like the southern part of Bali, the north also
consist an abundant place to visit from exploring the waterfalls in North Bali,
to ‘touching the clouds’ at Munduk Moding Plantation’s infinity pool – read on
to find out more about North Bali! But what the best things to do in North Bali
is enjoying the tranquility yet excitable home stay at Air Sanih Beach Villa.
How to Go
North
If you are
looking to get off-the-beaten path, consider travelling to the often-overlooked
North Bali where Bedugul, Lovina, and Banjar are situated. While the area is
naturally quieter and more secluded compared to the central areas of Bali,
there are still a plethora of things to see and do here.
For your
precaution, sadly, there are few of ways to go north once you touch down on
Bali. Cabs/taxis are very rare or are almost non-existent in North Bali, and
there is definitely no public transport to help you get around easily. To our
knowledge, the best way to get around in North Bali, is to: a) Hire a car with
driver, or b) Rent a car and drive yourself.
If you are
not familiar with Bali or have little experience in driving, we strongly
recommend that you hire a car with driver. Because the roads are windy and you
may get into trouble as there are local rules that you may not be familiar
with. Prepare a suitable budget of approximately Rp. 400k – Rp. 500k
(approximately USD $30 – USD $37) for hiring a car and driver a day. (If you’re
traveling in a group of 4, transport will only cost $10 a day!).
Carefully
Choose Your Homestay
It pays to
put some thought into your Bali base, as traffic and hot weather are likely to
make you stick close to your hotel or guesthouse rather than wander far on foot
or sit in stuffy taxis. If you want to enjoy tranquility yet excitable place
you can pick Air Sanih Beach Villa as your base. The villa is our most
recommended guesthouse when you want to make the most out of your travel in the
North.

relaxing experience when you are resting for long journey traveling across
north Bali.
Food is
Awesome in Here
Strict
dietary habits are no longer required to prevent spending your Bali break
within two steps of a toilet. Once upon a time, salads, cut fruit, ice cubes
and most meats were on the danger list, but hygiene standards have improved
markedly across the island, and many kitchens offer good quality organic
produce. While dodgy prawns will always be out there, by staying hydrated,
avoiding notorious local liquor arak, and consuming street food with a degree
of caution, the dreaded Bali belly should be kept at bay.
The decision
to place your base carefully shows real result when it is about the food. Air
Sanih Beach Villa are located near the best restaurant, clubs, and bar. You can
enjoy your evening in Lumbung Bar & Restaurant, Poco Lounge & Bar, or Bule
Bali Bar. There are plenty of tourist hang out in the places and you can share
stories with them whenever it is convenient. The food is also wonderful because
they serve food ranging from western cuisine to more traditional Bali cuisine. (ADR)
